ITALY: SEXUAL REPRODUCTION IS “FASCIST”
Italy suffers from one of Europe’s lowest birth rates. In response to what in saner times would have been viewed as a crisis, the nation’s health ministry launched a “Fertility Day” campaign in order to encourage Italian women to spawn more bambinos. This naturally led the ethnomasochists at The Guardian to lament:

It all sounds so similar to the fascist slogans of the 1930s, when posters on the walls incited women to give more children to the fatherland. Many cannot believe that a female minister has launched such a sexist, ageist, anachronistic campaign in a country where many other urgent problems remain to be addressed.

Apparently an Italy without Italians is not an urgent problem.

ROBOTS PREFER WHITE BEAUTY PAGEANT CONTESTANTS
Echoing a scandal back in March where an artificial-intelligence Microsoft “chat bot” named Tay almost immediately began spouting Nazi propaganda, a recent international beauty contest judged by machines selected only one dark-skinned woman out of forty-four winners. Programmers are currently scrambling to eliminate “bias” in the computerized evaluation of beauty. We wish them the best of luck and sincerely hope it doesn’t wind up as disastrously as when a Google photo app labeled black people as gorillas.

SHAUN KING DISCOVERS THE ALT-RIGHT
Shaun King, who is the modern version of Edward R. Murrow if you subtracted 60 IQ points and added only a cinnamon sprinkle of melanin, recently warned America that Donald Trump has transformed the Republican Party into a modern version of the KKK. He approvingly quotes not only the SPLC and ADL in his condemnation of Trump and the Alt-Right, but also “conservative” has-beens such as Glenn Beck and Ben Shapiro. King wields his editorial butter knife most sharply at Richard Spencer, whom he calls a “dangerous bigot.”

All things considered, is that worse than being dangerously stupid?
