CZECH NAZI “REALITY SHOW” RAISES EYEBROWS
We live in a world where TV producers take a modern family, tell them to pretend it’s 1939 and Hitler has just taken over Czechoslovakia, have them live through imaginary hardships such as fake starvation and being routinely raided by actors posing as Nazi soldiers…and somehow it still gets pitched as a “reality show.”
The eight-episode series is called A Vacation in the Protectorate. Its first episode aired on Saturday in the Czech Republic. Episode titles include “Rules of Survival” and “With the Gestapo at My Back.”
“What are they going to do next?” asked one TV critic. Big Brother Auschwitz?” Hey, it’s an idea.
WORLDWIDE POLL OF STUDENTS FINDS THAT GEORGE W. BUSH IS CONSIDERED WORSE THAN STALIN, MAO, AND GENGHIS KHAN
A poll of nearly 7,000 students from 37 countries has determined that the most evil man in history is, of course, Adolf Hitler. The study is called “Heroes” and “Villains” of World History across Cultures and was published in the online journal PLOS ONE. After Hitler, Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein were next. Nipping at their heels was George W. Bush, whom respondents”whose average age was 23″deemed to be more villainous than Stalin, Mao, and Genghis Khan.
The students’ top four heroes were, in order, Albert Einstein, Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi, and someone named Martin Luther King. All of these mere mortals were deemed to be more heroic than Jesus Christ, who showed up at a disappointing #6 on the list, squeezed between Isaac Newton and Nelson Mandela.
Researchers classified respondents under four broad categories: “Religious Idealists,” “Secular Idealists,” “Political Realists,” and “Historical Indifferents.” The only person that all four groups disliked was George W. Bush. Even Hitler fared better.

Mirth-making hatemongers have been having a blast pranking some of the world’s biggest websites lately.
Monstrously influential microblogging platform Twitter recently faced dual “racist” and “transphobia” scandals after pranksters used the site’s paid-for advertising program to promote the following Tweets:

It also emerged last week that if you type “Nigger House” into Google Maps, there’s a chance it will lead you to the White House. A search for the phrase “Nigger King” likewise led to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Google representatives quickly apologized, shuffled, groveled, jitterbugged, and rectified the alleged problem.
The CEO of the hugely popular website Reddit“which bills itself as “the front page of the Internet” and is known for a heavily laissez-faire approach toward free speech”recently hinted that certain “subreddit” groups such as “Gas the Kikes” may make people feel unsafe and thus could ultimately cause the site to start banning certain forms of speech. According to CEO Ellen Pao, “It’s not our site’s goal to be a completely free-speech platform.”
