GERMANS SAY “NEIN” TO ISLAM
News accounts continue to insist that Germans are still “haunted” by their past, as if it’s the Germans who are haunting themselves rather than the daily news accounts which refuse to let them ever forget. Perhaps the proper word is “taunted” rather than “haunted.”
Now from Dresden”the city that the Allies bombed so mercilessly that the sidewalks were glowing and untold numbers of civilians perished in a literal holocaust of fire”comes news that a group called PEGIDA“it’s an acronym for a phrase that translates as “Patriotic Europeans Against Islamization of the West””has been marching for weeks while chanting “Wir sind das Volk” (“We are the people.”) On Monday the marchers” numbers swelled to an estimated 15,000. Their critics, but of course, are calling them “Nazis” and “hooligans” and “rightwing extremists” who harbor a primitive and baseless fear of the gentle onslaught of non-German Muslims into their homeland. But reading subtext, the true fear may lie among those who are obviously horrified and appalled at the specter of Germans who no longer willingly assent to hating themselves for being German.
TWO COPS ASSASSINATED IN BROOKLYN REVENGE SHOOTING
Amid all the manufactured outrage over police shootings of black American males, one rarely hears the fact that statistically, a black American male is somewhere between 40 to 65 times”that’s times, not percent”more likely to be murdered by another black American male than by a cop. One also rarely hears that police killings of black American males have dropped nearly 80% since the 1960s, because that would put a serious crimp in all the manufactured outrage.
On Saturday afternoon, apparently pumped up by all the carefully manicured media manipulation, a 28-year-old black male named Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley leaned into a Brooklyn squad car and murdered two NYPD officers”one Asian, one Hispanic”before shooting himself. Their blood is on the media’s hands.

Thirteen teenagers at Oakmont High School in California are being referred to the Placer County juvenile-justice system for an alleged November incident during which they littered a black student’s lawn with cotton balls, an act which authorities are classifying as a misdemeanor by way of “terrorizing with hate symbols.” Sixteen-year-old Nicole Herrera claims there was no racial motivation to the prank and that the group had considered littering the student’s home with toilet paper instead, but it had proved too expensive. A school investigator was having none of it, insisting that cotton was inarguably a humiliating reference to slavery and brutality and all that stuff that ended 150 years ago but that no one will ever shut the hell up about because it continues to provide a cheap and easy excuse for modern-day failure, dysfunction, and criminality. Cotton”it’s a white thing”you used to pick it.
