After his one term was mercifully brought to a close, former president Jimmy Carter has busied himself both as a spokesman for Habitat for Humanity as well as some sort of unofficial-official international election observer. Flitting from third world hell-hole to hell-hole, he ostensibly made sure that every purple thumb was counted without the rigged elections, civil wars and death squads that make these nations live up to their reputations as banana republics. Of course this is kind of funny because, Carter being Carter, any candidates that were even remotely associated as pro-American got the Carter treatment con gusto.
Recall the sunset of Rhodesia and the Ian Smith era in 1979, and that nation’s first free elections. Despite Methodist Bishop Abel Muzorewa handily winning a majority, Carter refused to recognize his legitimacy because his opponent, ANC-backed Robert Mugabe, was not included in the running, mostly because he was fomenting terrorism against the Smith government and his, Mugabe’s, rivals in running the country. Funny how Carter’s U.N. Ambassador, the execrable Andrew Young, slimed Muzorewa and his government, a rare-for-third-world-Africa democratically elected one, as “neo-fascist.” So Carter forced a do-over, and after Mugabe won proceeded to “fundamentally transform” what was once the breadbasket of Africa into a basket case of racism, tyranny, murder, and violent thugocracy that lasted over 30 years.
Zimbabwe wasn’t a one-off, either. If Carter couldn’t interfere in any nation’s internal affairs while in the Oval Office, his mishandling of crises invariably led to disaster after disaster. The shining example was his abandonment of the Shah of Iran, which 45 years later has brought us to the brink of a nuclear-armed dark age mullahocracy. Well done, Jimmy. Take a bow.
Yet, despite Carter’s typical lefty-Democrat propensity to sidle up to our enemies while alienating and sabotaging our allies, in 2005 as the coauthor along with James Baker III of the bipartisan report for the Commission on Federal Election Reform, Jimmy Carter summed it all up with an 82-million-vote/megaton truth nuke:
“Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.”
Man, ain’t that the truth! Considering who this comes from as well as the current state of play of American politics and elections, the irony is off the charts. Even more so since the commission and its report were created in the wake of both the 2000 and 2004 elections, where Florida and then Ohio denied first Al Gore and then John Kerry the Oval Office. Speaking of “denial,” Gore, Kerry, and the entire Democrat-Media Complex never accepted George W. Bush’s presidency as legitimate.
Of course, after the 2016 shocker that saw Hillary Clinton defeated by Donald J. Trump, the rhetoric after Gore and Kerry were left in the dust was nothing to what was hurled at Trump. In fact, he’s on trial in multiple kangaroo courts for merely exercising the same First Amendment rights that the aforementioned trio of Dem candidates did. In point of fact, much less since Clinton and many other Democrats actively and openly urged members of the electoral college to become “faithless,” and not choose Trump as they were legally bound to. Clinton, in fact, contracted out and paid for the spurious “Steele Dossier” that begat the entire “Russian collusion” hoax that persists to this very day. And yet Trump is the one on trial for supposedly fomenting insurrection as well as being raked over the coals for not accepting the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
Whatever one thinks about Trump, be they substantive criticisms about policy blunders or arrant, childish nonsense about his “style,” he had and still has an absolute right to protest the results of 2020. Alarmingly, along with parents who speak out at school board meetings and people of faith protesting at abortion clinics, those who are of the opinion that 2020 was stolen have been labeled as “election deniers” and potential threats to what the Left sickeningly refer to as “our precious democracy.” They also go ape about the establishment of election integrity laws, the cleaning up of voter rolls, the requirement of photo IDs to cast a ballot as somehow disenfranchising and racist. Funny how having a photo ID is required every single day by everybody to drive a car, board an airplane, pick up meds at the pharmacy, apply for loans, and even enter office buildings, including governmental ones. Yet being required to flash one once every two to four years is somehow akin to the same treatment visited upon Emmet Till.
Election integrity in an alarming number of states was already problematic. Recall what happened in Philadelphia in 2008 where members of the New Black Panther party intimidated poll watchers and voters alike. Of course, newly minted Attorney General and Obama wingman Eric Holder decided not to prosecute them. Shocking, right?
In certain Philadelphia districts, Republicans had evidence over 100% voter turnout which Democrats could neither account for nor explain.
And that was back in 2012. Flash forward to 2020 where new data showed 353 counties across the nation had 1.8 million more registered voters than eligible citizens.
While sadly the “vote early and often” shenanigans that was the hallmark of corrupt machines like that of the Daleys in Chicago as exemplified with that example from Philly in 2012, the latter anomaly is a whole other animal entirely and one that is at the heart of a crisis of faith in our electoral system that has the potential to tear us apart nine months from now.
I make no secret of the fact that I believe that at a bare minimum, there is enough evidence to cast doubt on the outcome of the 2020 election. So much so that I do believe it was indeed stolen, primarily in the six swing states of GA, WI, MI, NV, AZ, and PA. Along with the naked criminality of the unprecedented stopping of vote counts and ejection of GOP election observers, the institution of unverifiable mail-in ballots across the nation was likely a, if not the, key factor in hijacking the election.
Last December, the Heartland Institute and Rasmussen released a rather shocking poll wherein 1 in 5 respondents admitted to committing some form of fraud in the 2020 election.
Here are the takeaways from Heartland:
(1) 17% of mail-in voters admit that in 2020 they voted in a state where they are “no longer a permanent resident”
(2) 21% of mail-in voters admitted that they filled out a ballot for a friend or family member
(3) 17% of mail-in voters said they signed a ballot for a friend or family member “with or without his or her permission”
(4) 8% of likely voters say they were offered “pay” or a “reward” for voting in 2020Taken together, the results of these survey questions appear to show that voter fraud was widespread in the 2020 election, especially among those who cast mail-in ballots.
Jim Lakely, VP of Communications at Heartland said:
Anyone who believed that the 2020 election was “the most secure in American history” trusted a corrupt Deep State more than their eyes and common sense. Yet this narrative continues to dominate corporate media coverage. Our election systems are broken in this country. If we do not fix them—including harsh punishments [for those] who break the law, as many admitted to in this survey—it will be impossible to trust any election moving forward. If you don’t protect the integrity of the election process and every single ballot, the franchise means nothing and we no longer live in a society governed by the actual will of the people.
But wait. There’s more! Heartland has drilled down deeper into the results of this poll and has come to an inevitable conclusion:
This is an analysis of the shocking Heartland Institute/Rasmussen poll, released in December, which found that no fewer than one-in-five voters who cast mail-in ballots admitted to committing at least one form of voter fraud. (Our deeper analysis of the data showed that we actually under-counted that number a bit; it’s 28.2 percent, which we explain in the report.)
This Heartland Institute Policy Study applied various levels of mail-in voter fraud to six key swing states in the 2020 presidential election: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
The study includes data on what overall percentage of votes in those states were mail-in ballots, what percentage of those mail-in ballots went to Biden or Trump, and what percentage of those mail-in ballots for each candidate were fraudulent. We analyzed these six swing states under 29 different scenarios that incorporate different fraud percentages, including the 28.2 percent number as well as every fraud integer from 27 percent down through 1 percent.
Of the 29 scenarios we analyzed, Donald Trump wins the Electoral College in 26 of them. The only levels of mail-in voter fraud in which Joe Biden wins the Electoral College are from 1 to 3 percent. This means that even if the true percentage of fraudulent mail-in ballots were even one-seventh of what our survey found, Trump would still have won.
With the salient point of this incredible poll and the analysis and conclusion that Heartland has come to, there are a few questions yet to answer. First, what’s to be done? With the GOP in the main feckless, useless, and unwilling or unable to address the now institutionalized fraud—ballot harvesting and the like are now the way things are done, which the Democrats take full advantage of—how can we possibly overcome this?
Second, Donald Trump has been widely criticized for making a big deal out of being robbed in 2020. Many feel he needs to move on from what happened to him and concentrate on the disaster Joey Sponge-Brain Sh*ts-Pants has inflicted on us, especially the crisis at the border. To harp on 2020 comes across as “sour grapes.” But is it really?
Is the greatest crime in American history that perhaps has ended American history as we knew it something to be ignored? In terms of immediate political expediency, perhaps this is the best course of action. But in the long term, 2020 can neither be forgotten nor forgiven.
And with November a mere nine months away and much of the institutionalized fraud still in place ready for the Left to take advantage of, what can and should we do? If they do repeat the theft of 2024, will enough disenfranchised Democrats who perhaps are ready to abandon their erstwhile party be as up in arms now as we were four years ago? And if Trump actually overcomes the fraud machine, the Left is sure not to accept it and claim it was stolen.
Lack of trust in our elections is the hallmark of the banana republics we once ridiculed. Yet this has become America’s fate, so far minus the squalor of a third world economy – at least until the massive wave of illegal aliens and homegrown criminals make that happen.
