BIG BROTHER’s FIRST TWEET
The Central Intelligence Agency”€”which applies its intelligence in a constructive manner that includes torture, secret prisons, drug smuggling, coups, extrajudicial executions, hypnosis, behavioral engineering, sensory deprivation, sexual abuse, and general, all-around, time-tested, good-natured mind control“€”has now joined Twitter. Its first tweet came on June 6:

We can neither confirm nor deny that this is our first tweet.

The international press corps”€”which are increasingly becoming nothing more than willing tentacles of statist power”€”mostly reacted with good cheer and a round of fawning applause. The Times of India referred to the CIA’s inaugural tweet as “smart-alecky,” “droll,” and “tongue-in-cheek” while accusing the agency’s critics of launching “ad hominem attacks” against it. The Guardian smeared the New York Review of Books as “technophobic” for launching a “Twitter attack” against the CIA by daring to remind the world of the multibillion-dollar agency’s misdeeds.

Perhaps the best CIA smackdown came from WikiLeaks:

PRO-GAY JUDGES TO AMERICAN VOTERS: DROP DEAD
Last week Wisconsin became the tenth state to have a voter-approved gay-marriage ban overturned by an activist federal judge. The 2006 ban, which like so many others was approved “overwhelmingly” by voters, was quashed by the mannish-looking US District Judge Barbara Crabb. Miz Crabb runs neck-and-neck with Candy Wagahoff Dale“€”the federal magistrate who shot down Idaho’s gay-marriage ban last month”€”in the lady-looks-like-a-dude department.

“This will further the complete lack of respect that the public has for the judiciary,” bemoaned Wisconsin State Senator Glenn Grothman. “What a travesty of justice to have their vote overridden by the stroke of an appointed federal judge’s pen,” said Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Action.

When judges can so easily override the popular will, why even pretend we live in a democracy? It’s clearly a federal judicial tyranny that encourages minoritarian interests. It recalls this passage from Nietzsche:

State is the name of the coldest of all cold monsters. Coldly it lies; and this lie slips from its mouth: “I, the state, am the people.”

NIETZSCHE EXPELLED FROM LONDON UNIVERSITY
Speaking of Nietzsche, the student government of University College London has banned the Nietzsche Club, claiming that the mustachioed Prussian, as well as other philosophers such as Heidegger, Evola, and de Benoist

…are on the extreme-right, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, homophobic, anti-Marxist, anti-worker and have had connections, direct or indirect, with Italian fascism and German Nazism.

It matters not that Nietzsche was clearly anti-statist and thus opposed to any possible form of fascism, nor that he was critical of Germans while referring to Jews as “the strongest, purest, most tenacious race living in Europe today.” What appears to have especially tweaked the university censors was a pair of posters the Nietzsche Club had put up around campus. One poster asked, “Too much political correctness?” while the other said, “Equality is a false god.” Clearly their false god’s sanctity had been questioned, and the heretics had to burn at the stake. In a shocking coincidence, a cosigner of the move to ban the Nietzsche Club was a student named Timur Dautov, president of the University College London Marxist Society.

THE MOST ANTI-SEMITIC GAS STATION IN CLEVELAND
Brahim “Abe” Ayad, the Palestinian owner of Biggie’s Foodmart and gas station in a heavily black area of East Cleveland, has gained notoriety over the years for sponsoring painted cartoon murals outside his businesses that are intensely critical of Judaism and Zionism. The latest mural to cause outrage depicts what a Cleveland ADL representative refers to as “a stereotypical Orthodox Jew” with his mouth planted between the legs of a startled naked baby, over which are painted the words “Talmudic Priests In Church”€”$ex With Minors Permited [sic].” This is an apparent reference to the metzitzah b’peh ritual, in which mohels suck blood from an infant’s penis after circumcision. The CDC claims that this practice led to 11 herpes infections“€”two of them allegedly fatal”€”among Jewish infants in NYC between 2000 and 2011.

Although critics referred to the mural as hateful, sickening, vile, disgusting, stomach-churning, sick, and unacceptable, it appears that none of them denied the existence of this practice.

When a reporter reached Ayad by phone, he was remorseless:

I’m more Jewish than all of these people calling me an anti-Semite put together. That’s my bloodline. … [M]y father paid his dues in blood in World War II for you guys. Get off my back.
