Christopher Sandford

Christopher Sandford grew up in London. Absorbing the harsh news that he would never play cricket for England, he started writing about it as an alternative. He's since published five books on the sport, as well as biographies of the likes of Mick Jagger, Kurt Cobain, Paul McCartney, Steve McQueen, and Roman Polanski. His book on the strange friendship of Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini is published by Palgrave. Christopher Sandford currently lives in Seattle.
