Jonathan Meades is the author of seven books, among them Filthy English, Peter Knows What Dick Likes, and Pompey. He has written and performed in more than 50 polemical television shows on, mostly, topographical and architectural subjects, some of which are available on a BBC DVD. He lives near Bordeaux.
