Manhunt

She Never Hurt One Animal

April 09, 2018

Of course there are nuts and cranks and oddballs and fetishists and misfits in the “race realist” movement or whatever you want to call that cluster of mostly white males who refuse to accept blank-slate equality as a fundamental premise. I’ve known my fair share over the years, just as I’ve known men with similar beliefs who are eminently reasonable and not at all annoying.

But on a per-capita basis, it has been my experience that most hardcore vegetarians are far crazier than most hardcore “racists.”

I don’t think it is overstating things to declare that I feel the vegan movement is far more dangerous to the health and fabric of our nation than the Alt-Right is, and you can quote me on that.

I don’t recall any European traditionalists stalking and terrorizing the pig-haulers in England whose trucks get attacked and and whose children are threatened with abduction and torture. I’ve never met a WWII obsessive who howls about the “billions murdered” by “carnists.” I don’t recall hearing about any reader of The Bell Curve sending letter bombs to government officials.

In the wake of her shooting spree/suicide, Aghdam’s father told the press:

She never hurt one animal, one ant. I don’t know how she did…this….I’m sorry. I can’t believe it.

Her uncle emphasized her kindness to even the lowest insect:

She would always take the insect outside and free it.

And yet she had no trouble shooting at humans.

In 2009 when she was a member of PETA, Aghdam “carried a plastic sword and wore pants spattered with fake blood” during a protest outside Camp Pendleton over the “use of pigs in ‘live tissue’ training for Marines and sailors learning how to treat battlefield casualties.”

And last week she marched into YouTube’s offices and drew human blood, including her own.

Just like Tony Perkins in Psycho, Nasim Aghdam wouldn’t even harm a fly. But she had no problem shooting at humans and killing herself.

At least in this case, it was not a gun problem. Neither was it an Islamic problem. And despite the fact that Aghdam was clearly cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, is was not even a mental-health problem. It was a simple case of misplaced priorities. When you upset the evolutionary order and place animals above humans, you wind up doing stupid things like this.
